Expert and comparator app reviews

A large consumer products company came to Nomensa as they were in need of our specialist experience in User Experience and app best practice. 

They were in the process of redesigning their current IOT Smart device app and wanted to understand its current position within the market and how they compared against competitors and comparators. 

We benchmarked their current app against UX and app design best practices, with a focus on the unique characteristics of connected devices. 

We highlighted successful elements of the app and identified problem areas with severity ratings. To help illustrate our conclusions and show some inspirational design solutions, we included examples of good user experience design from apps already on the market from within the smart home vertical and beyond.
